If you’re going out straight after work/college then this could work for you, or if you just can’t decide what to wear, you can just add and take away accessories and you’ll be good to go! Obviously I added a red lip too. For example, I added the necklace, and took away the glasses (temporarily bind while taking the photos but I would obviously wear contacts), changed the jacket and bag, folded down the disco pants to make it less casual and I transformed myself from “day time diva” to “night time rocker”. JOKING, but you get the idea.

I love the look of the gold choker against the velvet, it’s such a killer combination. This is more of a casual night look, because we’re pairing the disco pants and velvet with the smart jacket and I’m not wearing heels. This is perfect if you’re going to a music night, or just for dinner and drinks; probably not a full night out but it still looks dressy!
I need to find better ways to do my hair but for now I think I’m enjoying the quiff. If you want the perfect quiff you do have to put in more effort with the combing and teasing and it definitely works better with second day hair. It never works on freshly washed hair, even with excessive amounts of back-combing. Also, I don’t use hairspray but that’s just because I don’t have any, but I think it works well without it anyway and you’re using less product. So just tease away ladies.

Finally, my makeup, it’s all neutral, my same old tinted moisturizer, neutral eyes and obviously for the night look I added the lipstick.

Hope you guys enjoy this outfit and let me know how you would transition from day to night.

Slushy Leaves of Autumn

Jeans: Zara
Sweatshirt: Next
Hoody: Cannot remember, sorry.
Denim Jacket: Thrifted
Creepers: Urban Outfitters

Sorry about my awkwardness is an all of these photos

Autumn is so gross; I literally do not know what to wear because it’s not cold enough for a big jacket but too cold for hoodies. And the leaves. They may look pretty when they’re fresh, but when they've been on the pavement for a while and ten million people have walked over them, they turn into some kinda slush. I used to have to walk over a pavement full of slushy leaves every morning to get to school, and it made me want to be sick everywhere.

Don’t let the slush of autumn get you down though because apart from the leaves, cold winds, and random bursts of rain, autumn isn’t all too bad because you can really play around with what you wear by layering. Layering is not only a great look, but it’s also incredibly convenient as long as you wear things that are easy to take on and off. I actually prefer the colder weather for this reason. To me, the main focus of this outfit is the shoes, so everything else is kept neutral. However, the teal coloured hoody just adds an extra bit of colour on top. The leather look jeans are great, because they can be dressed up or down. I couldn’t be bothered to wear any proper jewellery for this. I don’t think you’d be able to see it anyway, so I just wore my bracelets that I always wear.

Okay, so this is my first ever blog. Ever. I don’t know if it’s normal to take this long to find a hobby but here I am. I have always enjoyed fashion, make-up, shoes, clothes and all that other deep and spiritual stuff, but I never thought I would ever want to share it on the internet. I honestly don’t know much about blogging yet, so hopefully, this won’t be too painful.

It’s almost like a journey that you, the reader, and I, the blogger, are going to take together. Haha. I feel like people don’t make enough use of the internet, it’s actually more amazing than we think! Everyone should have a blog. One day every last person on the planet will have a blog and it’ll be the only way we can communicate with each other. Thanks for reading, you should probably follow too. ;) – Ephrath xox
